We are looking for a creative, analytical & proactive Marketing Engagement Executive to join the Canal & River Trusts national marketing team. The Marketing Engagement Executive will understand the importance of audience engagement and would thrive in delivering marketing programmes to the connected audiences of the Trust. This role will be responsible for delivering smart and relevant customer journeys for our audiences, reporting on insights and ultimately helping us to grow our evolving loyalty and engagement model.
Reporting into the Marketing & Engagement Manager and working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the Marketing Engagement Executive will work on our national email marketing activity and any other marketing loyalty programmes created to ensure our audiences receive relevant content, are highly engaged and that our data handling in the marketing team is GDPR compliant.
About the role
This role will be directly responsible for communicating to the Trusts growing national email audience.
In addition, the Trust will be introducing a new loyalty model that offers customers another way to connect with us beyond email and social. This role will also be responsible for managing these audience and their customer journeys. .
In this role you will be working closely with key internal stakeholders, sharing insights, spotting and implementing missed opportunities for engagement, reporting on audience trends and working with the Marketing & Engagement Manager to present opportunities across teams that help the Trust deliver against our ambitious supporter growth targets.
To be able to deliver this you will:
Work with our email marketing, CMS and CRM platforms to produce best practise marketing.
Work with our lead creative, media and customer loyalty agency to deliver marketing and engagement products and content.
Under new GPDR legislation carefully segment data to deliver relevant content and run analytics on existing audiences to provide new insights on valuable customer.
Produce and share monthly reports that demonstrate how we are testing our customer journeys for our connected audiences.
Work with digital and marketing agencies and the marketing executive on customer reach, customer engagement, customer connections and customer conversions for all national marketing.
Work with the national digital team team to test, learn and demonstrate the implementation and tracking dynamic, personalised or localised content.
