We are currently for a Customer Service Apprentice as part of our commitment to the legacy of the network, and offering opportunities for people interested in a career with us, we are looking to recruit energetic and enthusiastic apprentices to train in all aspects of administrative customer care and visitor services.
As an Apprentice you will deliver excellence in Customer Service and provide support for customers/visitors of the Museum and the Canal & River Trust in the historic setting of Gloucester Docks. You will be dealing with the public on the phone, face to face and in writing. You will also be providing general administrative support to the South Wales & Severn Waterway Region and providing a high quality visitor experience at the National Waterways Museum. This is a brand new role and an exciting time to join the Canal & River Trust.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
As an apprentice, you will learn specialist skills in both a classroom and practical setting. Upon completion, you will be considered for any progression job vacancies to continue your career with the Canal & River Trust while the skills and experiences you have gained will be transferable to other customer care situations especially in a visitor attraction/cultural heritage setting.
