Job Title: Operational Property Co-ordinator

Hours: 37 hours a week (Monday to Friday)

Advertised Salary: £27,000 + benefits.

Base Location: Home-working role. Hub location will be discussed at interview stage.

We are currently recruiting for an Operational Property Co-ordinator to join our Estates team in the Investment & Commercial Directorate. The Operational Property Co-ordinator will deliver a contract support service to the Estates Team, providing support to the business across multiple property contracts using technical knowledge of systems, processes, financial and legal requirements, ensuring Canal & River Trust operates safely and efficiently with defined standards.

 

This role will be offered on a remote working basis, with a requirement to attend our main hub spaces for team working and collaborative meetings. Hubs we can assign to you include Leeds, Ellesmere Port, Burnley, Newark, Birmingham, Hatton, Milton Keynes, Gloucester & London.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring Programmes of works are provided and adhered to in line with agreed Contract Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Ensuring certification and documentation is provided in line with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s and updated as appropriate.
  • Uploading of all relevent certification and documentation to the Trust’s internal systems.
  • To assist with the reviewing of relevent certification and documentation for recomendation of remedial works and costs associated with.
  • To act as first point of contact between Trust Stakeholders and the relevant Property Contractors.
  • Ensuring reactive and emergency works are delivered in line with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • To assist with the raising of Purchase Orders and the review of monthly applications and invoicing.
  • Assist the Estates Team and Responsible Person(s) with: site audits; Admin support on Project works including tender submissions.
  • Displaying the Trust values and behaviours at all times
  • Ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of Trust life and promoting inclusion by challenging behaviour, practices, actions, or decisions that are counter to the objectives of the Trust’s policies and values.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills essential.
  • Experience in scheduling and programming works desirable.
  • Strong administration background, with experience working in a property based role desirable.
  • Strong technical and computer based skills including SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and allocate works.
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems desirable.
  • Comply with Canal & River Trust Health & Safety policy and defined standards, report incidents, accidents and near misses.
  • Assess the risks and make adjustments to work methods where appropriate.
  • Ensure all equipment (PPE, plant, materials etc.) is appropriate for the task.
