In these unprecedented times, our priority is to support the national effort to keep people safe, following the Government’s advice and taking the appropriate action to protect our colleagues and partners, and everyone who visits, or lives on and around, our canals and river navigations.
In the light of the current Coronavirus pandemic, and in response to current Government instruction, our recruitment activities are impacted.
We have therefore taken the decision to pause a number of our current vacancies at this time. We are contacting all those who have recently submitted an application with us, and will keep applicants informed over the weeks ahead.
Where recruitment process are continuing, we will be progressing with early stage processes including interviews by telephone, Skype, Zoom and Facetime where possible and appropriate.
We will continue to review the situation regularly in line with Government advice and in line with the Trust's needs. Please refer to our website and our social media channels for ongoing updates.
The recruitment team are working from home and will be available to continue to support all enquiries. We will answer enquiries as quickly as possible, and by email only.
We would like to thank you for your interest in the Canal & River Trust and for your anticipated understanding at this difficult and challenging time.
We wish you good health - stay safe and follow Government guidance
