Job Title: Project Coordinator Advertised Salary:£30,000 + benefits  Location: Remote, with regular travel across our network required. Our plans are to deliver a substantial increase in expenditure on our waterway network to improve its resilience through the growing impact of climate change.  The Project Coordinator will support the delivery of the Trust’s national programme of projects, including Priority Projects, Enterprise projects, MEICA projects and Other projects, to improve programme stability and provide clear reporting which will contribute to the efficient delivery of the programme.  The role will provide support in compiling programme status reports, reviewing and issuing project progress reports, administering change management procedures, preparing master programmes and monitoring project resource levels.   Location & coverage Our Project Coordinator role will be offered on a remote working basis, with a requirement to attend our main hub spaces as and when required for team working a collaborative meetings.  Travel throughout the regional waterway network will also be expected to enable site visits, liaise with team members, and to assess/conduct necessary improvements.    The regularity & flexibility of travel will be discussed further at interview stage.    See our canal network here: (https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/enjoy-the-waterways/canal-and-river-network). Drawing from the best examples in the wider industry, we have identified the changes to our processes and organisational structure we need to achieve our ambitious plans. As a result, we have created a new Programme Management Office (PMO) and Cost Intelligence team.  The PMO will define the standards of programme delivery and provide governance, oversight and assurance around the delivery of our expanded work programme.   Working within the Cost Intelligence team, the Cost Engineer role is responsible for a number of activities including the capture and analysis of costs at various stages throughout the project lifecycle and identifying trends and areas of efficiency to enable the Trust to make informed decisions around the delivery of works.   Location & coverage The role will be offered on a remote working basis, with a requirement to attend our main hub spaces as and when required for team working and collaborative meetings. You will assess outputs from inspections, design and develop solutions, and produce specifications, and briefs to deliver works through our national framework contractors or in-house M&E delivery teams.
